THis is kinda random but I had to share this...Lean not on your own understadning...(Prov3:5)
This is for those in the body of Christ always trying to rationlize the promises of God and how they beleive they are going to come to pass i their lives...You might want to print this out...lol ...cause its Long...
Numbers 23:19-20
19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill? 20 I have received a command to bless;
he has blessed, and I cannot change it.
1 Corinthians 2
12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Back to verse 9....1 Corinthians 2 (Amplified Bible)
9But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [[e]who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].(A)

No wonder he says...
Proverbs 3:5 (Amplified Bible)
5Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

With out knowing this we can't acheive the impossible...we can't rationalize everything we disqualify ourselves from the blessing...the one God has prepared that doesn't make sense to the natural mind...us doing the impossible God has for us doesn't make sense to us cause we try to rationalize it or downplay it by comparing to what we had done are what we can't do to the point we believe that and we stop doing the impossible hes calling us to so to bring Glory to him...
A prime example can be seen in
Matthew 14 (New International Version)

28"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."

29"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

Verse 31 Christ ask "why did you doubt"... Peter did so because in verse 30 he began to lean on his own understanding and began to try to rationalize the situation..and in doing so he worried about the elements discouraging him...like the wind ...and the fact he thought it wasn't normal to walk in water...nobody did it before..so why can I...so then He got afraid...and fell from the impossible...gee hopefully this makes sense and if it doesn't its still all good...Glory to God...Faith...its what it come down to..That's in the Spirit...cause the Spirit Knows God and remains faithful...

And Faith is Peep these 3 translations...

Hebrews 11:1

(King James Version)1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

(New International Version)1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

(Amplified Bible)1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Isn't all coming together...peep Heb11:6

6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

An example of such faith can be seen in verse 8 of Heb 11

8By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

This goes back to 1 Cor 2:9
9However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"[a]—

as..."obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going" in Heb 11:8 He couldn't conceive it in his natural mind how it was going to take place but he believed and went...He didn't try to rationalize it...he later got the promise of God...it all Goes back to Prov. 3:5-6 now...

Thang I'ma have to go out on that note...God Bless
